The Washington Demon and Keota Eagle boys basketball teams will each step outside of conference play tonight for a match up in Keota.

The Demons come in with a 3-6 overall record. Washington was a winner on Tuesday over West Liberty 69-55 behind 28 points from Jack Redlinger. On the season the Demons are led by Redlinger’s 12 points per game, fifth most in the Southeast Conference. Dalton Meyers and Luke Turner share the team lead with 16 steals and Cale Hobscheit has pulled in a team best 33 boards.

Keota comes into tonight with a 9-3 overall record. The Eagles were winners on the road Tuesday over HLV 58-49 behind JD Stout’s 29 points. On the season Stout leads the way for Keota scoring 22 per game, eighth most in Iowa. Luke Greiner is second in the South Iowa Cedar League with 45 assists. Jack Eakins leads the Eagles and conference with 88 rebounds.
