The Washington boys’ basketball team will look to get back in the win column today when they dip out of conference traveling to West Liberty.

The Demons (2-6) will search for their first win in 2018 having lost their first two contests. Washington will need to take care of the rock, as Mount Pleasant managed 18 steals against the Demons en route to a 33-point win on Friday. Jack Redlinger continues to lead the attack with 11 points a game. Jaivonn Willis has brought some energy off the bench and is averaging seven points per game in the three games he has appeared.

Despite a tough start, the Comets (2-7) have gained some confidence winning their last two games. The Demons will have to key on Seth Feldman, averaging 18 points per game on 39% shooting. Spencer Daufeldt is a presence down low with 12 points and five rebounds a game.

The non-conference matchup gets started at 7:30 p.m. tonight at West Liberty High School. KCII will have all the coverage starting at 7 p.m. with the Washington HyVee pregame show.
