Veterans benefits, emergency radio equipment, and annual funding requests are on the agenda for the Washington County Board of Supervisors weekly meeting.

In old business, the board will consider a contract with Louisa County related to assistance for individuals applying for veterans benefits. The former contract allowed Washington County to assist in the event that Louisa County personnel were not able to, and vice versa. A public hearing and discussion for intent to enter a loan agreement for emergency communications equipment will also be held. Funding requests will be presented by HACAP and Historic Preservation. The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
