Offices in Washington were affected Monday by the federal government shutdown that began Friday night and ended Monday night.

The Washington U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) office closed at 11 a.m. Monday and reopened Tuesday. The USDA office also houses the Natural Resource Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency, and Soil & Water Conservation District. President Donald Trump signed a bill Monday night that extends federal funding until February 8.
