The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls basketball teams continue their busy stretch on the court tonight when they host the Regina Regals at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.

The Golden Hawk girls enter play with a 9-4 overall record. The Hawks were beaten by Bellevue Saturday 74-37. Shae Becker led the way with 18 points and 10 rebounds. On the season the Hawks are led by Addie Rath averaging 19 points per game, second most in the River Valley Conference. Rath also leads the team with 90 rebounds. Anna Vilovchik leads the Hawks with 32 assists.

Iowa City Regina enters play with an overall record of 9-3. The Regals are ranked No. 8 in class 2A in the latest poll from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. In their last game they beat Durant 77-30, behind 17 points from Mary Crompton. Crompton leads the Regals and is seventh in the conference scoring 15 points per game. Lauren Gaarde is best on the team and seventh in the conference with 51 assists. Alex Wiese leads the Regals with 98 rebounds. The Regals won the first game between these two 50-46 in Iowa City.

The Mid-Prairie boys come into tonight with an overall record of 2-11. Mid-Prairie was beaten by Bellevue Saturday 80-57. Tom Butters had 17 points. Mid-Prairie is led by Cale Robertson scoring 10 points per game. Brad Tornow has the team lead and is fifth in the RVC with 29 assists. Butters is best on the team and fourth in the conference with 82 rebounds.

Iowa City Regina enters play with an overall record of 8-3. They were beaten by Solon Saturday 48-42. Masen Miller had 12 points. On the season Even Brauns leads the Regals and is fourth in the RVC scoring 13 points per game. He also leads the team with 66 boards. Miller leads the Regals and is seventh in the RVC with 32 assists. Iowa City Regina won the first game between these two schools 66-44.
