The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls basketball teams are back at home Tuesday when they welcome West Liberty for a River Valley Conference doubleheader.

The Golden Hawk girls are 10-8 on the year, falling 79-43 at Camanche Friday. On the season the Golden Hawks are led by Addie Rath, scoring 18 points per game, second in the RVC. She also has the team lead with 119 rebounds. Anna Vilovchik leads the Hawks with 49 assists.

West Liberty comes into tonight with an overall record of 2-15. They were beaten by Regina 67-37 on Friday. Macy Akers leads the Comets at 15 points per game, eighth in the RVC. She also has the team lead with 15 assists. Janey Gingerich is tops on the team with 94 rebounds. Mid-Prairie won this matchup in December 58-47.

The Mid-Prairie boys enter play with an overall record of 4-14. In their last game they were beaten by Camanche Friday 77-56. On the year the Hawks are led by Cale Robertson at 10 points per game. Brad Tornow’s 58 assists are third in the RVC. Tom Butters has 123 rebounds, third in the RVC.

West Liberty comes into tonight with an overall record of 2-14 after a 61-32 loss at Cascade Friday. On the year the Comets are led by Seth Feldman at 17 points per game, third in the RVC. He also leads the team with 16 assists. His 121 rebounds are best on the team and fourth in the RVC. Mid-Prairie won the earlier season meeting between these two 45-36.
