The Highland School Board will decide whether to share the superintendent with Lone Tree at Monday’s meeting.

Lone Tree has proposed sharing Superintendent Ken Crawford at 20% and Highland sharing transportation director, human resources, and buildings and grounds/maintenance at 20% for Lone Tree. These four operational sharing opportunities would give a savings of $139,944 to each district. The board will also take action on a proposal from FFA to use approximately 7-10 acres of district-owned land west of the football field to farm this spring, and will take action on modifications to board policies. The Highland School Board meets Monday at 6 p.m. in the high school.
