The Sigourney-Keota Cobras and Highland Huskies will both be on the mat today at the Hudson Invitational.

The Cobras were last in action Saturday at the Ottumwa Invite. The Cobras were sixth of 12 schools with 141 points. Des Moines East won the meet with 218 points. Mason Dye at 106lbs, Zach Boender at 152lbs and Kaleb Reeves at 220lbs all brought home championships. According to thepredicament.com there are two ranked Cobras in the lineup with Mason Dye No. 4 at 106lbs and Kaleb Reeves No. 2 at 220lbs.

Highland was last on the mat Saturday when they hosted the Gary Curtis Invitational. The Huskies finished sixth of 13 teams with 91 points. Top finishes came from Caedon Harbison at 120lbs, Cullen Klebe at 126lbs and Cory Stewart at 138lbs all taking third.

Joining the Huskies and Cobras today at Hudson are Charles City, Waterloo Columbus, No. 1 Don Bosco, East Marshall, Jesup, Montezuma, Nashua Plainfield, No. 1 NHTV, North Fayette Valley, Saint Ansgar and Hudson.

There are a total of 23 ranked wrestlers in today’s field. Action begins at 9:30 this morning and continues all day at Hudson High School.
