In a Southeast Iowa Superconference doubleheader Friday, KCII area schools WACO and Iowa Mennonite School will match up in Wayland.

The IMS girls come into the night with an overall record of 3-12, they fell to Winfield-Mt. Union Tuesday 52-39. Suzanna Yoder leads the IMS attack, scoring 22 points per game, No. 1 in the state in class 1A. She also has the team lead with 55 assists, sixth in the Superconference. Alyssa Hershberger has the team lead and is 10th in the conference with 107 rebounds.

The WACO girls are 6-11 on the season, dropping their game Tuesday with Van Buren 60-39. On the year the Warriors are led by Kiana Miller at 10 points per game. Aubri Garnsey has the team lead and is third in the Superconference with 64 assists. Nadiyah Brown leads the way on the glass with 77 boards. WACO won this matchup last year 38-31.

In the boys contest, IMS enters red hot, 13-2 overall, winners of four straight. In their last game they handled Winfield-Mt. Union 67-22. On the year IMS is led by Cole Ours scoring 15 points per game, sixth best in the Superconference. Caleb Gingerich is tops on the team and third in the league with 67 assists. Mitchell Schmeider has the team lead with 128 boards fifth most in the Superconference.

The WACO boys are 6-9 on the year. The Warriors scored a 53-49 win at Van Buren Tuesday. On the year WACO is led by Nik Coble at 10 points per game. His 166 boards are best on the team second most in the conference. Colton Horak has 68 assists third most in the Superconference. IMS won this matchup last season 57-30.
