The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk wrestling team is on the mat for their final duals of the 2017-18 season tonight when they travel to Wilton.

On the road Mid-Prairie will face Durant, Tipton and the homestanding Beavers.

The Golden Hawks enter the night with a 12-12 overall dual record after going 2-3 over the weekend at the Denver Duals, with wins over Martensdale-St. Mary’s and Mediapolis while falling to Dyersville Beckman, Fennimore, Wisconsin and Stewartville, Minnesota.

Durant enters tonight’s action winless on the dual season. Mid-Prairie beat Durant 42-10 earlier in the season.

The Tipton Tigers stand at 17-11 on the season. They won two of three duals at a quadrangular Tuesday, beating Belle Plaine and Davenport West while falling to Anamosa. The Tigers beat Mid-Prairie earlier this year 40-39 on criteria.

The Wilton Beavers come into tonight with an overall record of 21-3. In their last action they finished eighth of 24 teams at the Bob Lueders Invitational at Clinton Saturday. Wilton has three ranked wrestlers in their lineup according to thepredicament.com, with Cory Anderson No. 8 at 138lbs, Trey Brisker No. 1 at 152lbs, and Cameron Reddick No. 10 at 195lbs. The Beavers beat the Golden Hawks last season 54-21.

Action begins tonight at 5:30 at Wilton High School.
