College Scoreboard

The Drake women’s basketball team seized bragging rights over UNI on Friday night by winning 81-64. The Bulldogs stay undefeated in conference with a 7-0 record and 12-7 overall. The Panthers fall to 8-10 and 4-3 in conference. Drake will get back on the court Friday to face off with Illinois State and UNI will travel to play Bradley.

Iowa Soybean Average Yields Higher than National Average

Iowa’s 2017 soybean harvest tallied 561.6 million bushels, and according to the Iowa Soybean Association the state’s average yield was 56.5 bushels per acre.
