Description: Washington County Extension will host a growing season webcast on March 8 at 6 p.m. The topic is Food Security Partners. Hear how Master Gardeners are building projects that increase community food security. Also find out how to expand project partnerships with 4-H youth and volunteers. Master Gardeners can gain six continuing education hours for participating in the webcast. The webcast is free and open to the public. Call 653-4811 to register.

Description: The Washington County 4-H ELITE Project Team will be hosting a winter beach party on Sunday March 4 from 1-5 p.m. at the Washington Community Y. Clover Kids must complete the registration form but have no fee as this event is supported by the 4-H butter braid fundraiser, and non-clover kid members are welcome to join the fun by completing the registration form and paying a $10 fee to cover expenses. Description: St. James School will be having a super hero family night Thursday March 1. There will be a freewill donation dinner from 5-5:30 p.m. in the gym with hot dogs, chips, carrot, cookie, and a drink. There will also be “Make-Take-Come-and-Go” activities for all ages from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

College Scoreboard
