Law enforcement had a pursuit that ended with a driver fleeing on foot late Thursday night.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 11:50 p.m. a sheriff’s deputy was in a vehicle pursuit and the vehicle stopped in a farm field off of Highway 218, north of Four Corners. The driver fled on foot and the passenger of the vehicle was still on scene. Charges are pending. The vehicle was towed. Washington Police assisted with the case. The name of the driver was not released.
