Record Cold Temperatures in Washington Second Day in a Row

Record low temperatures were set for the second day in a row in Washington Tuesday.

The previous record had been set at -15 degrees in 1979. Tuesday morning temperatures in downtown Washington fell to -17 degrees. The windchill was recorded at -31 degrees. Temperatures are expected to warm up over the weekend, with highs above freezing Sunday. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
