The Sigourney bowling team was back in action Thursday when they dropped their first contest of the season falling to Ottumwa.

The Savages lost to Ottumwa by a final team score of 3292 pins to 2510. The Bulldogs’ Jaxson Coble bested the whole field with a two-game score of 483. Nathan Morris led the way for the Savages with 354 and Holden Huffman was not far behind with 344. Other scoring for Sigourney included Skyler Clubb with 328, Tanner Halleran with 319, Ben Shemanski with 305, and Parker Stevens with 275. Baker scores for the Savages included 158, 148, 172, 245, and 137.

The Savages drop to 3-1 on the season. Sigourney will next be in action Tuesday traveling back to Ottumwa.
