The Lone Tree wrestling team hosted a triangular meet on Thursday with WACO and New London in attendance.

The Warriors garnered area bragging rights beating Lone Tree 40-24. There were five contested matches in the dual with WACO winning four of them. They got wins from Jaden Collins at 120 lbs by fall, Jaden Williams at 132 lbs by fall, Jason Sammons at 195 lbs by a 13-0 major decision, and Cody Crawford at 285 lbs by fall. Tim Mills was the one victorious Lion at 182 lbs by fall.

The Warriors fell to New London in their other dual by a score of 43-24. Out of five contested matches two Warriors won including Nate Reynolds at 145 lbs by fall and Cody Crawford made it a perfect two for two by winning at 285 lbs by fall. Crawford’s two matches were won in a combined 32 seconds.

The Lions fell to New London by a 57-24 score. There were three contested matches in the dual and Trey Shalla was the lone win for the Lions with a pin at 285 lbs.
