Iowa Mennonite School junior girls basketball standout Suzanna Yoder has already enjoyed an illustrious basketball career at IMS and finds herself among the top ten in program history in several categories.

Yoder has scored 715 career points as of Thursday, January 11th. That places her eighth all time, up next on the list is 2014 IMS graduate Kristin Davis who finished her career with 805 points. The program record for career points at IMS is held by 1999 graduate Angela Bock with 1,743. Yoder is fifth all-time with 155 assists as of January 11th. Up next on the list is 1998 grad Sarah Smith at 165. The program record for career assists at IMS belongs to Bock who wrapped up her career in 1999 with 377. In her sophomore season Yoder scored the seventh most points ever in a single season with 342, her 31 three point goals a year ago were fourth most in a single year in program history, in a January game against Mediapolis this season she scored 32 points, fourth most in a single game. She is on pace to break the school record for scoring average per game in a year this season, standing at 21.2 points per contest with Angela Bock’s 21 points per game from 1997-1998 being the current standard.

The IMS girls are back on the floor Tuesday when they travel to Highland.
