The Washington Middle School and Lincoln Elementary archery teams had a successful day last week at Solon for a tournament.

The middle school team took home first place out of five teams with an overall score of 3209. Bryce Dewolf posted the best Demon finish with a score of 279 and 15 bullseyes that ranked fifth out of 128 middle school boys. Paige Labelle had a solid day with a score of 274 and 11 bullseyes that was third out of 71 middle school girls. Other top scorers include Brian Fritz with 272, Curtis Stender with 270, Allison Rees with 270, Kenna Rathmell with 270, and Lane Frana with 268.

Lincoln Elementary placed second on the day with a score of 2600. Sammy Jo Helfrich headlined the action with a 251 and five bullseyes that bested the whole field of 38 elementary girls. Other top scorers included Cash Pepper with 231, Kaden Read with 225, Brendan Taylor with 218, Nikole Hall with 215, Madison Conway with 213, and Rachel Sands with 213.

Both teams will next be in action January 27th at Cardinal.
