The Washington High School archery team continued their dominance on Saturday when they placed first at the Center Point Urbana tournament.

The Demons placed first on the day out of nine teams with a team score of 3331 and 164 bullseyes. Center Point-Urbana finished second with 3286. Samantha Miller led the Demons once again with a score of 292 with 22 bullseyes to rank second out of 99 high school girls. Braeden Duwa finished with a 287 and 19 bullseyes to rank second out of 83 high school boys. Other top scoring for Washington included Bryan Martin with 285, Cooper Reed with 282, Anna Venenga with 280, Griffin Wood with 280, Johnatham Bartholomew with 277, and Cody Mellinger with 275.

The Demons will next be in action Saturday when they travel to Mount Vernon.
