Demon Bowling Set for State Qualifying Meet

The Washington bowling teams start up their postseason today when they travel to Muscatine for the state-qualifying meet.

The Demons were last in action on Saturday for the Southeast Conference tournament. The girls finished with a final score of 1874. Keokuk took home the conference title with a score of 2514. Washington’s scores included Bailey Brown with a two-game score of 290, Taylor Janecek with 287, Taylor Northup with 252, Rylie Swart with 223, Trista Kelly with 217, and Dawsen Schluetter with 211.

The boys’ had four bowlers and finished with a score of 1684 pins. Fairfield won the event with 2890. The Demon scores included Keaton Zear with 347, Drake Schluetter with 334, Tucker Renoux with 290, and Dacota Miller with 185.

The chance to go to state gets started at noon today at the Rose Bowl in Muscatine.
