Drought conditions have lessened from last week to this week across Iowa.

At this time 45.21% of Iowa is abnormally dry and 15.2% is in moderate drought. Washington County is mostly in moderate drought with a small portion abnormally dry, Johnson and Louisa Counties are experiencing the same conditions. All of Henry and Jefferson Counties are in moderate drought. And Keokuk and Iowa Counties have small areas of moderate drought and are mostly abnormally dry.
