The Iowa Mennonite School and Highland boys basketball teams will face off for the third time on the season tonight when they travel to Mount Pleasant for a class 1A district showdown.

Iowa Mennonite enters play with a 19-3 overall record. They were in action Thursday in the first round of the postseason, scoring a 56-49 win over Holy Trinity Catholic, led by freshman Eli Ours with 14 points. On the season Cole Ours leads the IMS offense scoring 14 points per game, 10th in the Superconference. Caleb Gingerich has the team lead with 70 assists, ninth in the Superconference. Mitchell Schmeider has the team lead with 156 boards, eighth best in the conference.

Highland comes into tonight with an overall record of 11-11 on the year. The Huskies shot down the Danville Bears in the first round of the playoffs Thursday 78-73 behind 11 three point goals, four players in double figures and 30 points and 13 rebounds for Zack Lasek. On the year, Zack Lasek leads the Huskies and is second in the Superconference scoring 21 points per game. His 203 rebounds lead the team and are third in the Superconference. Trey Lasek is second in the conference with 108 assists.
