The Iowa Mennonite School girls basketball team is back on the floor tonight when they travel to English Valleys for the regional quarterfinal round of the class 1A playoffs.

IMS advanced through the first round with a last second 37-36 win at Keota Thursday. They have a 4-16 overall record. Suzanna Yoder led IMS with 17 points, Alyssa Hershberger had 12 including the game winner with three and a half seconds remaining. On the season Suzanna Yoder leads the state of Iowa, scoring 22 points per game. She also leads the team and is sixth in the conference at 74 assists. Hershberger leads IMS with 143 rebounds.

English Valleys enters tonight with an overall record of 13-9 on the year. They advanced through the first round of the playoffs knocking out Tri-County 49-20 behind 13 points from Audrey Grove. On the year the Bears are led by Grove, scoring 14 points per game, fifth in the South Iowa Cedar League. Sydney Olson leads the Bears with 59 assists. Madison Trimpe is best for the Bears and fourth in the SICL with 185 rebounds.
