The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls basketball teams hit the road for their final doubleheader of the season tonight when they meet Pekin in Packwood.

The Iowa Mennonite girls enter play with an overall record of 3-14, following a 56-46 loss to Louisa-Muscatine Tuesday at Hillcrest Union. On the season, Suzanna Yoder leads IMS, the Superconference and all of class 1A scoring 23 points per game. She also has the team lead and is sixth in the Superconference with 63 assists. Alyssa Hershberger has a team best 120 rebounds.

Pekin comes into tonight with an overall record of 19-1. They are ranked No. 12 in class 2A in the latest poll from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. They topped Winfield-Mt. Union 51-34 Tuesday. On the year the Panthers are led by Maci Gambell scoring 17 points per game, third most in the Superconference. Her 144 rebounds are fifth in the Superconference. Zoey Wright has 82 assists, fifth in the Superconference. Pekin won this matchup earlier in the year 51-44 in Kalona.

The Iowa Mennonite boys enter play at 15-2 on the year, winners of six straight including a 64-53 win over Louisa-Muscatine on Tuesday. On the season IMS is led by Cole Ours at 15 points per game, fifth in the Superconference. Caleb Gingerich has the team lead with 67 assists, fifth in the Superconference. Mitchell Schmeider is sixth in league play with 129 boards.

Pekin comes into tonight with an overall record of 11-6. The Panthers fell to Winfield-Mt. Union Tuesday 52-43. On the season, Pekin is led by Cameron Millikin at 14 points per game, 10th in the Superconference. He also leads the Panthers with 47 assists. Keaton Winn is 10th in the Conference with 90 rebounds. IMS won this matchup 44-39 in Kalona earlier this year.
