A childhood favorite board game is coming to life at the Washington Public Library.

Librarian Jenisa Harris says the event where the library turns into the game is back by popular demand, “And literally I transform the whole upper level of the library into a huge Candyland game. So you and your family will get to have spinners and walk through the Peppermint Forest, the Glompy Swamp, and the Lollipop Woods. It’s a ton of fun.” Harris says the library is more than just reading, it’s about family togetherness and imaginations developing, “I love to see families learn and grow together.” It is Sunday, February 25th from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The event runs like an open house and there is no pre-registration.
