The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls basketball teams will be on the floor tonight for the final time in the regular season when they host the Cascade Cougars for senior night.

The Mid-Prairie girls are 11-8 overall after a 59-39 win over West Liberty Tuesday. On the season the Golden Hawks are led by Addie Rath scoring 18 points per game, second in the River Valley Conference. She also has the team lead with 131 rebounds. Anna Vilovchik leads the Hawks with 52 assists.

Cascade enters play with an overall record of 18-3. The Cougars are ranked No. 6 in the latest poll from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. Tuesday they beat Monticello 50-36. On the year the Cougars are led by Nicole McDermott scoring 13 points per game. She has the team lead and is second in the conference with 103 assists. Abbie Ruggeberg has 137 rebounds best on the team 10th in the conference. These two met last year with Cascade taking a 39-35 win.

The Mid-Prairie boys enter tonight’s game with an overall record of 5-14. They were winners Tuesday over West Liberty 65-53. Cale Robertson leads the Golden Hawks scoring 11 points per game, 10th in the River Valley Conference. Brad Tornow has the team lead and is second in the conference with 63 assists. Tom Butters is third in the league with 137 rebounds.

The Cascade boys enter tonight with a perfect 19-0 overall record. They are ranked No. 3 in the latest poll from the Associated Press. In their last game they beat Monticello 56-44. Harris Hoffman leads the Cougars and is seventh in the River Valley at 13 points per game. Brock Simon is best on the team, fourth in the conference with 74 assists. Johnny Supple has 105 rebounds, eighth in the RVC. These teams met last year with Cascade winning 55-29.
