The future of the now empty lot at 302 West Main Street in downtown Washington is being determined by the Washington County Board of Supervisors.

At the recent supervisors meeting the board discussed whether to leave the lot as is with the potential for a future building site, gravel it for parking, or pave it for parking. The board directed staff to get quotes to make it a gravel parking lot with the intent that it be used for staff parking. They also requested quotes to install a fence along the west property line.
