The trial date for one of the two Riverside parents charged in the death of their infant daughter has been pushed back.

The jury trial for 37-year-old Anthony McCoy that was previously scheduled for March 6 is now set for July 24. McCoy’s attorney, Douglas Tindal, motioned for a continuance after Washington County Attorney John Gish resisted the defendant’s supplemental motion for discovery of evidentiary material. The continuance was ordered on February 6. The jury trial for 29-year-old Ambrashia Chrzan is set for March 20. Chrzan and McCoy each pled not guilty to the charge of child endangerment resulting in the November 2016 death of their 17-month-old daughter Avery McCoy.
