At least 20 vehicles were broken into Tuesday night in Fairfield.

According to the Fairfield Police Department, 20 vehicles were broken into and driven without permission in what is termed “car hopping.” No information is released at this time about where the cars were broken into or who the perpetrator is, pending an ongoing investigation. The Fairfield Police Department asks anyone in Fairfield or the surrounding area who believes their vehicle was broken into, driven without permission, or damaged the night of February 13 to contact the Fairfield Police Department.
