For the second time in a week, the WACO Warriors bested the Iowa Mennonite School girls basketball team, this time at Hillcrest Union in Kalona as part of the Southeast Iowa Superconference Shoot out, by a 58-38 score.

The Warriors took control early, starting the game on a 16-3 run that lasted the entire first quarter. They led 33-9 at the half. IMS made a move out of the locker room, outscoring WACO 15-10 in the third quarter but in the end, the WACO lead was too much to overcome. Kiana Miller led WACO with 19 points, Kristen Connelly had 13. Suzanna Yoder led IMS with 19, Avery Blauvelt had 10. With the win, WACO improves to 9-13 while IMS drops to 3-16.
