Washington County Conservation is progressing in their education center display project.

The conservation board has been in talks with McCullough Creative for installing new interactive displays for the Conservation Education Center in Marr Park.

Director Steve Anderson gives an update on the project, “We are waiting on a cost estimate from the consultant that we hired and so we’re kind of in the final planning stages of what is intended. And then we’re going to put together a cost proposal and begin to seek grants in order to actually make it possible to take it off the paper and put it into the center.”

The total estimated cost of the project is around $100,000 to $150,000 and includes interactive displays and activity tables with interchangeable tops.
