A welfare check was performed on an airplane in Washington Wednesday.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, at 11:50 a.m. dispatch received a call from Chicago Air Traffic Control Center that an aircraft disappeared off their scopes near the Washington Airport. The plane was making low passes around the airport and they’d lost communication with the pilot. Washington Police went to the airport and found that the Cessna 182 had landed without incident.
