The Winfield-Mt. Union girls’ basketball team gets back on the court tonight when they host Burlington Notre Dame for the Southeast Iowa Super Conference shootout.

The Wolves (9-11) will look to snap a three-game losing skid including being on the wrong side of an 82-29 game last night against Mediapolis. Lexee Hartsock has be a force all season long, as she leads the team with 15 points a game including shooting at a 50% clip. Allie McArtor has been relentless on the boards averaging nine rebounds a game including being in double digits for that category in 13 straight contests until that streak was snapped last night.

Burlington Notre Dame (8-11) was last in action Tuesday when they fell to Central Lee 59-44. The Wolves will have to look out for Taylor Ackerman, leading the Nikes with 10 points a game. Hope Ward leads them on the glass with six boards a contest. This will be the first meeting of the season between the two clubs.

The SEISC shootout gets started at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Winfield-Mt. Union High School.
