The Washington middle school and Lincoln Elementary archery teams competed at Center Point Urbana last week and each team finished second in the competition.

The middle school team finished second out of seven teams with a score of 3202 and 107 bullseyes. Cardinal edged out the Demons with a score of 3208. Allison Rees led the way for Washington with 282 and 14 bullseyes to rank third out of 100 girls. Other top Demon scoring included Brian Fritz with 272, Kenna Rathmell with 270, Paige Labelle with 269, Alex Craff with 269, and Duston Sorrells with 266.

Lincoln Elementary finished second with 2834 and 53 bullseyes. Leading them in scoring was Cash Pepper with 263 and seven bullseyes to rank fourth out of 48 elementary boys. Other scoring included Sammy Jo Helfrich with 253, Nikole Hall with 249, Kyann Miller with 245, and Jade Sheetz with 241.
