The Washington School Board now has a full slate of board members.

Tuesday afternoon James Almelien was sworn in. He was elected from three candidates in a special election on March 20th. The Washington County Board of Supervisors canvassed the vote Tuesday morning. The seat had been vacated in January. Almelien will now join the school board as they begin the search for a new Washington superintendent. Current Superintendent Jeff Dicks has announced he’ll be taking a job in another district at the end of the school year.
