Five actors are playing 40 characters this weekend and next in a Washington Community Theater play.

The Harp Players are performing the comedy Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, director Greg Wiley shares the plot, “It follows the Hound of the Baskervilles by Conan Doyle, but the twist of this whole show is there are five actors who play 40 characters. And sometimes you see them change even right there on stage, so everything is moving quickly, people run off stage change character, run back on stage get their costumes put together and off they go. Someone dies at the beginning of the play just like any Sherlock Holmes mystery, and Sherlock has to figure it out and weave through all the mysterious characters that are in the area.”

There will be raffle drawings and a portion of the show’s ticket sales will be donated to the Washington County Domestic Violence Coalition. The comedy is on the Washington Community Center stage tonight at 7:30 p.m. and next Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
