The South Iowa Cedar League hosted their indoor girls championship meet Monday in Grinnell with the Sigourney Savages and Keota Eagles participating.

The Sigourney girls posted five event championships on their way to a big night. The Savages had Autum Barthelman bring home gold in the 60m dash with a time of 8.07 seconds, Summer Barthelman finished third in the event. Autum also won the 200 in 27.80 seconds with Leah Carter taking fifth. Autum Barthelman posted her third title of the night in the 60m hurdles with a winning time of 9.30 seconds. Summer Barthelman added a title in the 400 with a time of 1:02.47 and a long jump championship with a leap of 16’2.75″. Sloane Magill had a fourth place finish in the shot put.

Top finish for the Keota Eagles came in the 1500 with Paige Thompson eighth in a time of 6:15.57. Other finishes for Keota included the distance medley team 10th, Jenna Jaegert 17th in the 400, Bailey Baumert 19th in the 200 and 27th with 60m dash while Jill Schulte was 23rd in the 60m hurdles.
