Beginning Monday, those interested in running for county office can officially file nomination papers and affidavits of candidacy.

The forms must be turned in to the County Auditor’s Office between March 5th and 28th to appear on the ballot in the June primary. In Washington County the positions on the ballot include Washington County Attorney, County Recorder, County Treasurer, and two seats on the Board of Supervisors. The two supervisors seats are for districts three and five, which are currently held by Abe Miller and Richard Young.
