Your last chance to give input on the Washington County Master Trails plan is this Tuesday.

MSA Consultants is conducting a final public input meeting at the Kalona Public Library from 6-8 p.m. Washington County Conservation Executive Director Steve Anderson says the series of meetings held throughout the county have been to garner public input to prioritize county trail projects in the foreseeable future. The Washington County Riverboat Foundation has helped fund this planning which includes the hiring of MSA Consultants. After the final input meeting, a rough draft of the master plan will be created, which will then be publicly reviewed and edited again to become the Washington County Master Trails Plan. If you cannot attend the meeting, you can complete a survey online. To complete the survey click here.
