Central College held their boys indoor track and field event Friday at the Kuyper Fieldhouse on their campus in Pella.

Competing at the event were Mid-Prairie, Iowa Mennonite School, WACO and Lone Tree.

The Mid-Prairie boys scored the only event championship on the day with Floyd Evans bringing home gold in the 3200 with a time of 10:09.20. Peyton Miller was a runner-up in the 400 with a time of 54.01 seconds. Marshall Teets was also a runner up in the 800 in 2:08.15. Terryhn Jacoby took third in the 60m dash and fifth in the 200. Kyle Miller was fourth in the long jump and the Golden Hawk 4×800 team finished third while the 4×400 team was fifth.

Lone Tree got five top 25 finishes on the day led by the 4×800 team taking fourth. Casey Shalla was fifth in the shot put, Brock Smith took ninth in the 400, Brady Dauber was 15th in the 200 and Harmon Miller 24th in the 800.

The WACO Warriors got three top 20 finishes all from Colton Horak. He was eighth in the 60m hurdles, ninth in the 60m dash and 20th in the 200m dash.

Iowa Mennonite had three top 50 finishes on the day with Levi Geyer taking third in the 1600. Aaron Hershberger was 47th in the 400 and Louis Etienne 49th in the 200.
