This weekend is your last chance to see five area actors portray 40 different characters in one comedy.

The Washington Community Theater with the Harp Players presents Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery. The play is directed by Greg Wiley, “It follows the Hound of the Baskervilles by Conan Doyle, but the twist of this whole show is there are five actors who play 40 characters. And sometimes you see them change even right there on stage, so everything is moving quickly, people run off stage change character, run back on stage get their costumes put together and off they go. Someone dies at the beginning of the play just like any Sherlock Holmes mystery, and Sherlock has to figure it out and weave through all the mysterious characters that are in the area.”

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Washington County Domestic Violence Coalition, which aims to help families in a variety of ways from paying for gas, to getting to appointments, to making sure children have a birthday cake. The play is on the Washington Community Center stage tonight at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., tickets are $6 for students and $12 for adults.
