Former Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk softball standout Alex Rath is in the middle of her sophomore season with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Rath concluded her freshman year hitting .167 with three runs scored and an RBI in limited action. So far this season she has seen the field in six games, scoring three runs. The Hawkeyes are 13-13 on the season.
