Today is the special election for the vacant Washington School Board seat.

Polls are open at the Washington County Courthouse and Brighton Municipal Building from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone who lives in the school district can cast a ballot in the race. The three candidates are Jim Almelien, Dana McDole, and Lori Orris. The seat was vacated in January, and the newly elected member will help select the new superintendent for the school district. Listen to KCII tonight for results.
