The WACO girls’ basketball team recently had four players recognized by the Southeast Iowa Super Conference being named to the all conference teams.

Kiana Miller headlined the action being named to the first team for the south division. The senior led the team in scoring with 10.5 points per game while shooting at a 28% clip. She also racked up 3.9 rebounds a contest, compiled 25 assists, and 35 steals on the season. Miller broke a school record with six threes in a game earlier in the year.

Kristen Conelly was named to the second team. The junior was second on the team in scoring with 8.6 points a night and was a threat from deep connecting on 39% from three. She hauled in 106 rebounds to average 4.8 a contest.

Honorable mentions for the Warriors included Aubri Garnsey and Clara Schmitz. Garnsey led the team in assists with 98 and steals with 41 in her freshman campaign. Schmitz average 4.5 points and 3.3 rebounds a night.

WACO finished the season at 9-13.
