The WACO Warrior boys basketball team was recognized by the Southeast Iowa Superconference for their play during the recently concluded season.

Four Warriors were named to All-Conference teams.

WACO’s Nik Coble was a first team All-Conference selection. The sophomore averaged a double double this year for WACO scoring a team best 11 points per game and pulling down a conference best 12 rebounds per contest. He ended the season with 261 boards, third most in the state. His 54 blocked shots led the conference and were 10th most in the state.

Junior Colton Horak was a second team All-Conference selection. Horak scored seven points per game this season for WACO. His 109 assists were best on the team and fourth in the conference. Defensively, his 86 assists were second most in the league. He also pulled down 114 rebounds.

Senior Calvin Battle and sophomore Drew Kissel were honorable mention All-Conference picks. Battle ended the year scoring seven points per game. He had 34 assists, 38 steals, and 61 rebounds. Kissel scored nine points per game. His 67 assists were seventh most in the Superconference to go along with 24 steals and 47 rebounds.

WACO ended the season with a 10-12 overall record.
