The Washington Lions Club has helped hit a milestone in the Iowa KidSight Program.

The volunteer members of the Iowa Lions Clubs across the state have offered extended vision screenings to over 500,000 children through the program. Four-and-a-half-year-old Maylee Allen at Stewart Elementary School in Washington was number 500,000. She had her screening session in February at the school. A celebration was held in Maylee’s classroom at Stewart Elementary Thursday.
