Three candidates are running for the vacant seat on the Washington School Board.

The three candidates are Jim Almelien, Dana McDole and Lori Orris. The vacancy was created when Kate Glinsmann stepped down in January. Regardless of which voting district a person resides, anyone who lives in the Washington School District can vote for who they’d like to see take the seat on the board.

The special election will be held March 20th with polling locations in Brighton and the Washington County Courthouse. Also, early voting is available in person at the Washington County Auditor’s Office. Listen to KCII the evening of March 20th for results.
