The Winfield-Mt. Union boys track and field team opened their season attending the indoor Dickinson Relays Monday on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa.

Top performances for the Wolves came from Kolten Buster in the high jump who finished 14th clearing 5’10”. Buster was also 147th in the 60m dash. BJ Rodgers also had a big night, finishing 30th in the long jump at 19’5″ while taking 97th in the 60m dash. Brandon Snowden was 34th in the 200m in 24.56 seconds while taking 39th in the 60m dash.

Other finishers for WMU included Juanito Piper 67th in the 60m hurdles, 92nd in the 200 and 114th in the 400, Andrew Brady 80th in the shot put, Jared Arnold 106th in the shot put and Nick Davis 123rd in the shot put. Brody Barton was 109th in the 800, Dane Sweezer was 122nd in the 800. Mitchell Niebuhr took 129th in the 200m while Christian Gerot and Talon Newton were 136th and 138th in the 400 respectively. In relay events the Wolves 4×200 team took 51st.
