Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course in Fort Madison will be busy Monday as it plays host to the Southeast Iowa Superconference girls golf championship meet.

New London enters play as the favorite for the conference crown on paper with their team scoring average of 183 per nine holes. The Tigers are led by Casey Noble and her 41 average per nine holes. Top area team by the numbers is Winfield-Mt. Union with their scoring average of 213 per nine holes. The Wolves are led by last year’s state meet qualifier Lexee Hartsock with her 50 average per nine holes.

Other area teams participating include the Columbus Wildcats with their 232 team average per nine holes. Aubrey Duncan leads Columbus with a 49 average.

Iowa Mennonite has a 274 team average. IMS is led by Gretta Rempel with a 58 average per nine holes.

Highland has a 286 average as a team. The Huskies are led by Kayla Cerny with a 63 average.

Lone Tree has not posted a team score this season. The Lady Lions are led individually by Abby Buckman with her 62 average.
