As Washington County is feeling more like spring, the Conservation Education Center will be transitioning into their summer hours.

Beginning this Sunday and continuing through Labor Day the center will be open Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. The center is also open for rentals and visits by appointment. Visitors have until May 28 to check out the free traveling exhibit Turtles: Secrets of the Shell from the National Mississippi Museum and Aquarium in association with the Smithsonian Institution and the Resource Enhancement and Protection Act.
