Area teams converged on Dwight G. Sattler Field in Wellman Tuesday night for the Golden Hawk Co-Ed Relays.  

The Mid-Prairie boys had the top area team finish, taking the runner-up spot with 83 points. Mount Pleasant won the meet with 148 points. The Hawks won three titles on the night with Floyd Evans taking the 1600 in 4:34.94, the sprint medley team of Josh Slaubaugh, Peyton Miller, Grant Boyse and Cary Schaefer was a winner in 1:37.44 and the distance medley team of Slaubaugh, Boyse, Schaefer and Marshall Teets took the title in 3:42.00. Other top finishes for the Golden Hawks included Quinn Schmidt second in the 400, Zach Pettit runner-up in the 800, Peyton Miller second in the 400 hurdles, Kyle Miller second in the high jump, the 4×400 team of Schaefer, Boyse, Schmidt and Peyton Miller runner-up, Pettit third in the 3200, Miles Burrows fifth in the 400 hurdles and the 4×800 team of Schmidt, Brad Tornow, Burrows and Jacob Nonnennmann fifth.

The Washington Demons were sixth with 31 points. Top finishes for the Demons included a runner-up for the sprint medley team of Cade Hennigan, Tanner Murphy, Sawyer Whisler and Ethan Hunt. Other top finishes for the Demons included Hunt third in the 400 hurdles, the 4×200 team of Spencer Sotelo, Murphy, Whisler and Ryan Reighard third, the 4×100 team of Hennigan, Murphy, Whisler and Sotelo fourth the shuttle team of Hennigan, Sotelo, Kleese and Schiefer fifth, Schiefer fifth in the high jump and Cade Pouren fifth in the long jump.

The Columbus Wildcats were 12th with 11 points. Columbus was led by a pair of third place finishes from Abel Mena in the 400 hurdles and Tommy Pretz in the long jump.

Highland finished in 16th place with four points. Top finish for the Huskies came from Zack Lasek in the discus taking fourth.

Top finish for the Iowa Mennonite boys came from Levi Geyer in the 3200 taking sixth place.
